Phrasal verbs são verbos com uma partícula (up, out, on…) que muda o sentido. Aprender os mais comuns, como get up, look for e find out, deixa a sua fala muito mais natural.

get uplevantar-se (da cama): I get up at 6.
wake upacordar: I woke up late today.

Separáveis ou não?
Alguns phrasal verbs aceitam o objeto no meio: "turn the TV off" ou "turn off the TV". Quando o objeto é um pronome, ele vai obrigatoriamente no meio: "turn it off", nunca "turn off it".
